Zack has served QCCC as Assistant General Manager for the past year and a half and has 15 years experience in the club business. Originally from Fort Wayne, Ind., he has a strong background in food and beverage and is a Sommelier in the Guild of Sommeliers. Zack moved to the Naples area with his wife, Lauren, and their Cockapoo, Charlie.
Wendy Felsinger, Communications & Marketing Director
Originally from Fort Wayne, Ind., Wendy has a strong background in marketing and communications with emphases in writing and digital marketing. She has worked in the club industry for over 13 years and spent eight years at Indiana’s Sycamore Hills Golf Club. During her tenure, Sycamore Hills was ranked 69th on Golf Digest’s Top 100 Best Courses in America and hosted two USGA Championships, five PGA Championships and seven Blessings in a Backpack Celebrity Chef events featuring such chefs as Charlie Trotter, Marcus Samuelson, Rick Bayless and Michael Symon. Wendy has also writtenfor a regional magazine including features on Tom Watson, Michael Symon and Amanda Blumenherst. She oversees the writing, design, publishing and distribution of all printed and electronic Club communications.
Don has worked in the club industry for 28 years, beginning his career with PGA National in West Palm Beach, Florida, and at Vestavia Country Club in Birmingham, Alabama. He then spent 14 years at Indiana’s Sycamore Hills Golf Club. During his tenure there, Sycamore Hills was ranked 69 on Golf Digest’s Top 100 Best Courses in America. In 2009, the club hosted the PGA Junior National Championship. Most recently, Don helped to turn around Chapel Hill Country Club by growing the membership and developing a new financial model. His experience also has included developing respected and nationally recognized programs in swimming, tennis, and golf course operations.
Nick has been an employee of QCCC for 10 years as Assistant Golf Professional and, most recently, as Outside Operations Manager. He is also a licensed realtor and has strong connections with Golf Life Navigators, a company that matches prospective members with their preferred golf club. Nick has a degree in Marketing from Ferris State University.
Nick’s extensive knowledge of our Club and the Naples community, particularly local golf and country clubs, as well as his experience in member sales as a buyer agent and listing agent, are strong assets he brings to his role as Membership Director.
Kevin Leo is a seasoned manager with nearly 30 years of experience in golf course maintenance, design, construction, and staff management. He has worked with golf course architects Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay, Jack Nicklaus, Bill O’Leary, Arthur Hills, and P.B. Dye, among many others. For his design and development work of the golf course at Old Corkscrew Golf Club, Kevin achieved the Audubon International Silver Sanction. Old Corkscrew was also named Best New Golf Course in 2008 by Golf Digest.
Kevin has a thorough knowledge of golf course construction and grow-in from his work at prestigious golf courses in the Bahamas and the U.S., including Quail West Golf and Country Club, The Strand Golf Club, Miramar Lakes Golf and Country Club, and Olde Cypress Golf and Country Club.
Chef Scott Ross, Quail Creek Country Club’s Executive Chef, CEC, CCA, was named 2017 Culinarian of the Year for the Naples/Fort Myers area by the American Culinary Foundation.He has developed his craft over the past 20 years next to some of the most talented hotel and club chefs of modern times. Classically apprenticed at the Piping Rock Club and working with master chefs at four Ritz Carlton properties, Scott honed time honored traditional cooking skills while perfecting modern day cooking techniques.
In addition to numerous positions at Platinum Clubs and Five Star Five Diamond Hotels, Scott has held the position of Executive Chef at Loblolly in Hobe Sound, FL, Long Cove Club in Hilton Head Island, SC, and The Point Lake and Golf Club in Mooresville, NC. Scott is a graduate of Johnson and Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island, with an Associate’s Degree in Culinary Arts.
Throughout his career, he has had the honor of hosting different styles of events including charity fundraisers, USGA tournaments, multi-course wine dinners, and even cooking for two United States presidents. Scott has also worked for two PGA events including the Masters at Augusta National. As a Certified Executive Chef through the American Culinary Federation, Scott continually focuses on not only furthering his own education in both food and wine, but also those of the young culinarians who surround him.
Joe brings more than 25 years of financial experience in corporate operations. He has previously worked at companies including Deloitte and Touche, IBM, Ash Brokerage, The Medical Protective Company (a wholly owned subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway) and GE Capital.
Joe led the financing and construction of Ash’s $35 million/115,000 sq. ft. corporate headquarters. He also serves on several professional, educational and non-profit boards.
Cynthia brings more than 10 years of progressive human resource experience in corporate management operations and consulting as well as both non-profit and for-profit healthcare. She has previously worked at companies including Mercer Delta Consulting (an MMC Company), Credit Lyonnais Americas, Northwell Health, and Oglethorpe Inc. While working at Mercer Delta, Cynthia developed a commitment to serving clients and their organizations with integrity, emotional intelligence and professional standards. She has carried that philosophy throughout her professional career.
Cynthia is currently pursuing national certification as a Senior Certified Professional through the Society for Human Resource Management, and is a member of HR Collier, their local chapter. She also volunteers with the PACE Center for Girls and Collier County Girl Scouts as a positive role model and mentor.
Cynthia holds a Master of Science degree in HR Management from Long Island University – Brooklyn and a bachelor’s degree in English and American Literature from New York University.
Cynthia and her family relocated to Florida over two years ago from Westchester County, N.Y. They enjoy boating and local travel.
Mike is a Minnesota native who has enjoyed almost two decades as Quail Creek’s golf pro. He is an accomplished teacher, staff leader, and master of ceremonies. Mike is an optimist and an encourager. His teaching style is to work your current swing into a more relaxed, natural movement, and then focus on comfort, consistency, and confidence.
A graduate of marketing from Ferris University with the president’s award in academics, Mike is respected as one of the top PGA professionals in Florida. His club experience includes La Quinta and Rancho Las Palmas in Palm Springs, CA; Dallas Country Club in Dallas, TX; Atlanta Athletic Club in Atlanta, GA; and Nassau Country Club and Rockaway Hunt Club on Long Island, NY.
Jon is an Indiana native who has spent his life in the Fort Wayne area. He attended Indiana University and Purdue University – Fort Wayne, where he was a member of the men’s golf team from 2005 to 2010. After graduating with degrees in Business Management and Marketing, Jon entered the golf industry.
His first professional position was at Brookwood Golf Club, where he spent three years as the Assistant Professional. In 2013, Jon joined the Professional staff at Sycamore Hills Golf Club, a Jack Nicklaus Signature facility, in Fort Wayne. During his eight years as a Professional, Jon has gained a strong reputation as a fantastic instructor and player. He was a qualifier for the 2013 National Assistants Championship and was the 2014 Monticello Open Champion.
Jon Call, Director of Tennis, USPTA Professional 1
Jose served as QCCC Head Tennis Professional from 2013 – 2015. He was the Director of Sports at Collier’s Reserve and an advisor to the Naples Pro League, scheduling Pro Leagues and Pro Exhibitions for Collier Reserve. Jose’s responsibilities include the development and execution of strategies to make Quail Creek tennis, pickleball, bocce and croquet the premier “court sports” offering in Southwest Florida.
Jose was the 2015 USPTA District Professional of the Year, 2017 USPTA Florida District President of the Year and is currently the USPTA Florida Vice President. Jose has also served on the USPTA National Education Committee and the USPTA National Testing Committee. An IPTPA Certified Pickleball Coach and ISSA Certified Fitness Trainer, Jose brings a wealth of skills and experience to QCCC. He has a degree in business management from Florida Gulf Coast University, where he was ranked #7 in doubles tennis in NCAA Division II. A native of Sao Paulo, Brazil, Jose and his wife are the parents of 1-year-old twins.
Teri was hired as a part-time receptionist in February, 2007 and became our full-time Office Manager in October, 2011. In October 2015, she was promoted to Fitness Operations Manager. She relocated here from Michigan in 2003 with her husband and two daughters. Since relocating to Florida, she has become an avid tennis player and sports enthusiast.
Originally from the Kennebunk, Maine, area, Melanie has resided in southwest Florida for more than 25 years.
She has over 26 years of experience in the event field, selling, planning and executing events in various arenas, including country clubs, corporations and resorts. Most recently, Melanie was Director of Events and an Event Planner at LaPlaya Beach Resort for over six years.
Melanie is married and has teenage triplets, a rescue Himalayan cat and a Shiba Inu mix rescue dog.
